Corporate Social Responsibility guide

UiH has just launched a new guide for businesses wishing to engage in social responsibility and support universal health coverage. “How the corporate sector can support healthcare for all” offers a brief introduction to UiH, our mission statement and information about where we work, as well as providing businesses with examples of the benefits of engaging in social responsibility.

For UiH, and in a healthcare context, ‘corporate social responsibility’ refers to an opportunity for businesses to contribute to the creation of desperately needed health care services in some of the world’s poorest countries. It is an invitation to join forces with and to help to raise numbers of professionals and standards of care where these are low/unacceptable; it is a call for more equality in what remains a very unequal and unfair global society.
